I recently purchased the ACEMAGIC AX16 Pro AMD Ryzen 7 5700U Laptop, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. As someone who enjoys playing video games with my son, this laptop has been a game-changer. From Roblox to Geometry Dash and RuneScape, it runs everything smoothly without any hiccups.

The only Con I want to mention is the track pad. It is a large clunky thing. With the whole pad needed to be pressed to get a mechanical feedback, or just a touch tap it is awkward to use. Additionally, the scale and placement is not optimal for games requiring WASD hand placement as the edge of my hand touches the pad and caused erratic mouse movement at times. Fortunately, the touchpad can be disabled with FN + F9 and a usb mouse quickly alleviates these issues.
Onto the good stuff.
One of the standout features of this laptop is its ability to multitask without impacting performance. Whether I’m juggling multiple applications or running OBS alongside RuneScape, the AX16 Pro handles it all with ease. This is particularly great for those moments when I want to record our gaming sessions.
It’s important to note that due to the lack of a dedicated graphics card, the AX16 Pro may not be suitable for running many AAA titles. However, it’s perfect for exploring a wide range of smaller games, making it an excellent choice for casual gamers.
In terms of value, I believe the ACEMAGIC AX16 Pro offers an excellent balance between performance and price. It’s a testament to the fact that you don’t need to break the bank to get a reliable and powerful gaming laptop.
