How to connect Renpho to Samsung Health?
Find below useful steps to connect Renpho to Samsung Health.
Steps 1 : My Account
In the Renpho App, go to the “My Account” tab.
Steps 2 : Settings
Tap/select “Settings” at the top right of the “My Account” tab.

Steps 3: Samsung Health
Under “Settings”, tap/select “Samsung Health”.

Steps 4: Login to Samsung Health account
Open the Samsung Health App and login to your Samsung Health account.

Steps 5: Authorize Samsung Health in Renpho app
- After you login to your Samsung Health account, go back into the Renpho app to the authorization page linking Renpho with Samsung Health.

- Switch on the “Samsung Health” button in the top right. At that point, a new authorization page will pop up asking you to allow Renpho to read and write Samsung Health data.
- Ensure all permissions are enabled.
- Try using the Renpho app again. At this point, data from the Renpho app should now sync with Samsung Health.
If you still cannot sync data to Samsung Health, try disabling the permissions and then re-enabling the permissions again.
1. Open the Samsung Health app.
2. Tap/select Samsung Health settings in the upper left, then tap/select the wheel gear.


3. Tap/select “Data Permissions”.

4. Tap/select “Renpho”.

5. Turn off the permission in the top right.
6. Return to the Renpho app. Under the “My Account” tab, go to “Settings”, tap/select “Samsung Health”.
7. Switch on the “Samsung Health” button in the top right. At that point, a new authorization page will pop up asking you to allow Renpho to read and write Samsung Health data.
8. Ensure all permissions are enabled, then select confirm.
Notes:
1. Ensure you complete Step 5 by switching off the permission for Renpho to access Samsung Health. If you don’t, when you complete Step 7, the new authorization page won’t pop up.
2. If you logout of the Renpho app, the data will not sync with Samsung Health. Ensure you are logged in to both the Renpho and Samsung Health apps.
3. Ensure you are the main user. Sync only one Renpho app to one Samsung Health account.
How to sync data from Renpho to Samsung Health?
Download the Renpho Health app and log in using your Renpho app email address and password. The historical data will be transferred to the Renpho Health app automatically. If you are using Guest Mode (no email and password) on the Renpho app, the historical data of your account cannot be transferred and will be lost once you uninstall the app or change the device.
Now Reconnect the device(s) to your account in the Renpho Health app. Enable access from third-party apps such as Apple Health, Fitbit, Google Fit, Samsung Health, or MyFitnessPal when upgrading to Renpho Health.
Now you need to allow permission for the app and check if this works.
- Locate and launch the Samsung Health app, then select Menu (three horizontal lines) and finally Settings.
- Select “Data Permissions.” You can choose an app that is connected from this list to view the various permissions it is utilizing. You can toggle authorization on or off by tapping the switch next to it.
- Data syncing will now occur.
If still you are getting error, you can roll back to a previous version of the app, it will work again.
How accurate is Renpho scale data and Samsung Health app?
Please be aware that if you choose to view your weight in st+lb on the app, the weight in stone will be rounded to the nearest whole number and the remaining weight will be displayed in imperial pounds. For instance, the app will display 10 stones 2.8 pounds for a person weighing 142.8 pounds (on the scale) (10 stones = 140 pounds; 140+2.8 = 142.8 pounds). When converting pounds shown on the scale to compare to the app’s display in stone, please bear this in mind.
A conversion calculator for 142.8 pounds would show 10.2 stones.
What is the Renpho scale weight accuracy ?
The incremental measurement accuracy range of the Renpho scale is determined by your weight:
50kgs: ± 0.3kg
100kgs ± 0.4kg
150kgs ± 0.5kg
110lbs: ± 0.66lb
220lbs ± 0.88lb
330lbs ± 1.1lbs
For example, if you weigh 220lbs, the scale is accurate to within 0.88lbs.
Please don’t use the scale if you weigh more than 396 lbs.
