Build
It’s made of all metal so no plastic that will break and the top is very easy to clean. It’s basically partical board that’s like wood grain painted black and so far we have no scratches or anything and he has spilled and dropped multiple things on it already! As I said he’s very hard on things! I like that it has a hanger for his headphones and a hanging folder on the side for his school binders.
Design
Overall dimensions are 59.1″ x 47.3″ x 29.5″, plenty of legroom for rest. It is sturdy enough to hold the CPU with no problem (we have a hairy dog who spends a lot of time in my son’s room, so keeping the CPU on the floor isn’t an option).
Accessories
The extras are also very nice. The small storage attachment is very functional and can hold a variety of items for easy of access. Easily holding my extra cables, electronics manuals, flash drives etc. The desk also comes with a hook for a headset and several high strength magnets for attaching various knickknacks to the desk.
Assemble
The assembly was somewhat tedious, but they label most of the parts and the screws are in bags with numbers to distinguish them. The guide includes which parts you need on each page, so it’s fairly easy going. They include an extra screw for each bag.
Use
I had also bought the Cubiker L desk that’s of equal length. This desk beats that hands down. The cross bars on the back give the structure rigidity and keeps it very sturdy. Minimal to no rocking when weight is added. If you wanted to save a few bucks for some of the other varients, don’t. It’s the perfect buy at a reasonable price.
