Mini PC AWOW mini desktop computer Performance review
This system was great for running Kodi and playing 4k videos from some of the streaming services like Netflix. I was really impressed with it’s versatility compared to a streaming box like Roku. Its enough to play videos, including Youtube, Netflix, and internet browsing, or low requirement programs and some browser games. Videos play too slow if they are not in full screen mode, but that doesn’t really bother me, as soon as I maximize them to full screen, they work smoothly. It will run 4k videos on 30fps.
The PC boots up in under 20 seconds and launches into a fully activated version of windows 10. There is absolutely zero bloatware on this system. It is equipped with an Intel Celeron Skylake N3450. This chip is power efficient and consumes a minsule 6 watts of power and has the Intel HD 500 GPU. This unit is paired with 6 GB of DDR4 ram and a 128gb Kingston SSD in the m.2 slot. This unit can be upgraded with 2.5″ SATA HD.
I did download Passmark and the CPU scored a 1726! I found this system was more than capable of running day-to-day applications. The system booted from post in under 20 seconds as well thanks to the SSD and lack of bloatware.
