How does Alen BreatheSmart 75i filter work?
Polluted air first passes through Alen’s replaceable Pre-Filter to capture large particles, extending the life of the filter. What I like most about the Alen is the auto adjustment of the speed and how silent it is even when it’s working hard. I am a light sleeper and on conference calls all day long.

Expensive air purifier but worth the $$.

The machine looks great. Wi-fi works well and the machine is loaded with helpful features. It is extremely quiet even on turbo. I actually enjoy the sound it makes.
The warranty is the best I have found.My machine came with the upgraded filter which really restricts airflow. I replaced the filter with the plain HEPA and the airflow greatly improved. The basic filter works well and I find almost zero dust in the house. Kind of a bummer that the carbon filter impedes the machine so much. I paid extra for an upgrade and then needed to spend another 100.00 for a standard filter.
The 75i is an expensive air purifier and the filters are not cheap. This machine is excellent quality and the lifetime warranty justifies the expense.

Love my 75i Allen purifier and Fresh True HEPA Filter
It’s attractive, works well and it’s easy to change the filter. I do have one question: if the filters are supposed to last 12 to 15 months, why am I alerted to change the filter at 12 months? Is the machine set to notify you in 12 months or is it set to notify you when the filter is no longer working effectively whether that be at 12 months or 15 months or somewhere in between?
