The two Wifi antennas give great stability to the connection, all this combined with a high-speed IPTV subscription is fantastic. With WiFi antenna and LAN connectivity, streaming and live video, even in 4K, are perfect.

Crystal clear image and pairs excellently with my 4K tv! The 4k decoding gives stunning images, even the smallest objects are visible in a natural way. With the MyTVOnline 2 software, it’s like a cheaper cable subscription. You can record live, schedule events.

Recording with USB
The DVR function begins at the press of a button and accessing your stored clips or videos is very fast. Unfortunately, you do need an external USB storage device to actually use the DVR function. It’s puzzling that the 16GB HDD is inaccessible for this function but perhaps Formuler already filled it to the brim with data.
Remote
With the remote control, you can easily navigate through the main interface and through the different applications. The Z8 is under Android Oreo, which is version 8 of the operating system.
The new upgraded IR remote that comes with the unit is incredibly responsive. The in hand feel is amazing and it’s very sleek! They do have a BT remote which eliminates the need for the IR extender and also allows voice control. The Pro does not come with the BT.
Some buttons include EPG, Favorite, Group, Live, VOD, VFormat, Resolution, Playlist, and sleep. There are instructions on the back of the remote that explain how to program the TV and Source keys.
Faster processor
With quad-core CPU inside of the Formuler Z8, it is certainly getting faster speed. Browsing through menus and channels is just as fast as with the Z7+. The navigation is also smooth. Regardless of that, the Formuler Z8 is most certainly a very speedy device.
