Build & Design

It weighs 18.49 pounds and has package dimensions of 18.9 x 13 x 43.5 inches. Included is the storage bag that houses the hose and the stair cleaner. For dispensing pure water, cleaning solution, and unclean water, it is attached with three reservoirs. It is simple to remove and clean the cover that sits above the bottom brush roller compartment.

Attachments

The hose and a stair-climbing adaptor were included with the device. The accessory comes with two brushes. I pulled up dog fur with the rubber one. The hose extended seven treads. To spray soap or water, pull the trigger on the head. same procedure: spray carpet with detergent.

Brush

Additionally, it features FlexForce Pet PowerBrushes, which are strong antimicrobial brushes. To eliminate leftover pet stench from the house, these brushes clean more thoroughly and penetrate deeper than traditional ones. It easily eliminates any pet hair, grime, spit, crumbs, and loose fabric from your carpet by penetrating deep into it. Your carpet will look brand new once more if you use it with the Paws and Claws carpet cleaner shampoo.

Water tank

Three tanks are present: a water tank, a tank for filthy water, and a tank for solutions, which is situated behind the water tank. Simply take out the solution tank to perform a rinse without shampoo solution. One thing I saw is that in order for the machine to resume suction after emptying the tank that holds the unclean water, the lid must be fastened tightly.

Cleaning

“Automatic Cleaning Technology” is used by the hoover carpet cleaner. The wash is made exceedingly simple to use by this function. To apply the solution and water, simply roll the cleaner forward. Then, roll it back to dry the spot.

The brush covers are simple to remove and only require a quick rinse. You may need a pipe cleaner to clean the front portion of this cover if you have pet hair or carpet fibres like I do. Additionally, both tanks are incredibly simple to clean. Not the case with my earlier PCs. There is no justification for not getting this equipment sparkling clean.

Hoover SmartWash pet automatic carpet cleaner with spot chaser Performance reviews

Both setting it up and using it are really simple. To clean, move ahead; to dry, move back. can furthermore press a button to keep drying the carpet after it has been cleaned. Push forward to clean, pull back to suction away the water: this cleaning technique is exclusive to Smartwash.

This is a very effective technology that resembles a vacuum cleaner. Additionally, it has a dry-only mode that can be activated by pressing a button. Water may be removed from the carpet by pushing forward and pulling back, which doubles the speed and ease of the process. Our area rugs dried in under six hours.

Gets the Job Done.

I was going back and forth between this and the shark navigator cordless. They seemed pretty even on reviews. I mostly decided on this because it’s was on sale on the Hoover website! I had to wait a little longer to get it then I would from other sites(about 5 days from the day I ordered it) but it was worth the price difference for sure. I was worried about it as I have 4 dogs. A great dane(high shedder short hair), a Mini Aussie( How shedder clumpy hair), a King Shepherd(high shedder clumpy long hair) and a Cheweenie(high shedder short hair. I also have a maine coon cat. So, I essentially have lots of hair everywhere, all the time. I do NOT know how this performs on carpers because I bought it for my wood floors( bathrooms(2), hallway, entryway, dining room, and kitchen.) So far it has worked great for me. I have had ZERO clog issues despite the amount of hair it has to pick up and I have been able to vacuum all the above mentioned rooms in one swoop without the battery going dead. It picks everything up easily. I actually accidentally sucked up a good size piece of paper today and really though it would cause my first clog, but atlas it didn’t. So far this vacuum is performing perfectly for me. I think the only downside I can think of as of now is the fact that a replacement battery is 100$. However, there are off brand batteries other places that are compatible with this vacuum for half the price, and the reviews on them state that they actually work better than the original hoover battery… So, I will probably just go that route whenever I need a new battery. If you want a cordless for wood (or any non carpeted) floors, this one is definitely recommended. And it does hold up against that pet hair!

Shark Navigator Freestyle Upright Cordless Vacuum

Cheap Shark Navigator Freestyle is only 7.5 pounds, has a.64-gallon extra-large dustbin, works well on both carpet and bare floors, and is perfectly prepared to handle pet hair. Its swivel steering makes it easy to navigate around furniture, and a strong spinning brush removes imbedded pet hair from carpet and rugs. On the bare floor setting, a full charge can last up to 24 minutes, and the carpet setting can vary depending on the type of carpet, but the manufacturer’s website claims that 17 minutes is the average. Due to its small size, it is simple to keep and charge in a closet or laundry room.

The biggest drawback of this model is that it doesn’t have any attachments or turn into a handheld, making it difficult to reach tight spaces like behind the sofa. To get a complete cleaning, you would need to use this model in conjunction with a broom or duster.
