How to set up WiFi calling Samsung S9 – Verizon

  1. From a Home screen, tap the Phone icon  (lower-left).
     If unavailable, swipe up or down from the center of the display then tap Phone .
  2. Tap the Menu icon  (upper-right).
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap the Wi-Fi calling switch to turn on  or off .
     If activating Wi-Fi Calling for the first time:
    1. Tap Activate Wi-Fi Calling.
    2. Review the Terms & Conditions then tap CONTINUE.
       Ensure the Terms & Conditions option is checked .
    3. Enter the emergency location information (E911) address then tap SAVE.
       This info gets transmitted to the emergency dispatcher for all 911 Wi-Fi calls. If address validation fails, you’ll be required to re-enter a valid address.
       Upon successful validation of the address, Wi-Fi Calling turns on.

 To select your calling preference while traveling outside the Verizon wireless coverage area or internationally, ensure Wi-Fi calling is turned on, tap Roaming preference, select ‘Wi-Fi’ or ‘Mobile’ then restart the device.

1. Find “Settings”

Press Phone.

Press the indicator next to “WiFi Calling” to turn the function on or off.
