Bodi-well massage gun reviews

Design

Its dimension is 8.66 x 2.4 x 8.43 inches. The ergonomic designed grip minimizes external vibrations and the durable anti-slip silicone grip makes the massager easier. It is well packaged. It comes in its own carrying case with four different attachments and a charging cable.

Portable

It is portable, lightweight and weighs only 1.28lbs.

Attachments

The massager is equipped with four different shapes of massage heads to help users relax different body parts.

Vibration

There are 4 tools for different parts of the body: wrist, elbow, shoulder, and neck. The deep tissue massage really works great on sore or tense muscles. It has a simple design with an on/off switch and varying intensity. It produces 1400 to 3200 RPM to reach tissue as deep as 10mm to increase blood flow for effective post-workout muscle relief.

Charging & battery life

The massager is equipped with a 2400mAh high-quality lithium battery, which can work for about 5 to 6 hours after each charge, and can be quickly charged.

Noise

The BodiWell gun is noticeably more quiet and very soft to hold. Its brushless moter produces low noise at 35dB – 55dB, which is good for using in Office or gym without causing a disturbance.

Bodi-well massage gun how to use

The massage gun is so relaxing. The gun is easy to use and grip. It charged relatively quickly, seems to be powerful enough, and for using it 4 or 5 times for 10 to 15 minutes each time hasn’t needed to be recharged.

I have only used the big round attachment and the small one. Very easy to use in areas that are hard to reach by hands like the back of the legs and the back. Good power levels and fast relief for muscle tension.

Performance

It is well made and feels very durable. The speed settings and included attachments cover a wide range of massage intensity. After only one charge of the battery at the time of opening and daily use ranging from 10 – 60min for a full week, the battery indicator has not gone down at all.

Bodi-well massage gun alternative

Best High-Tech: Theragun G3 PRO

Specs
  • Noise: 70 to 75 dB
  • Stall Force: Up to 60 pounds
  • Weight: 2.9 pounds
  • Customizability: Four unique arm positions, five speed settings, and six attachment heads
Pros
  • Great massage versatility
  • Top quality
  • Powerful
Cons
  • Louder than other options
  • Limited battery life
  • Expensive

Theragun is the pioneer of massage gun products, and the PRO is their top-of-the-line option with a price tag to match. With that said, it definitely gets the job done.

It comes equipped with six attachments and an adjustable arm so users of all heights can target any part of their body successfully. Handling up to 60 pounds of force before stalling, this massage gun provides pretty powerful percussive therapy. While its battery life is only 75 minutes, the PRO comes with two batteries, both of which are rechargeable, so you can use them interchangeably.

The percussion speed of the PRO makes it a louder option, which is something to be mindful of if you plan on using it in a public space like the gym. On the plus side, it comes with a nice carrying case and an interactive app.

Legiral Le3 Massage Gun

Specs
  • PPM: 1,200-3,200
  • Noise level: 35-55 decibels
  • Battery life: up to 6 hours
  • Weight: 4.1 pounds
Pros
  • Quiet
  • Long battery life
  • Lifetime warranty
Cons
  • Heavier
  • Not easy to hold

The Legiral has 20 speeds and five interchangeable heads so you can target every inch of your body that ails you. The massage gun boasts a 16mm amplitude (the distance the shaft and attachment travel away from the gun and into your muscle), the same as you’d find on the much pricier Theragun Pro and Theragun Elite.

While this is impressive considering its low price, we have to admit that the Le3 didn’t pack quite as powerful a punch as the Theragun models during testing — we had to apply a lot more pressure to get an equivalent massage. That said, we’d also assume having to use more force is worth saving hundreds of dollars.

For a gun that costs under $100, you’d expect the Legiral Le3 to lack a lot of the high-quality properties of its more expensive competitors. But with a well-above-average amplitude, lengthy battery life, an incredibly wide PPM range, and twenty different speed settings, the Le3 holds its own among the more well-known brands.

However, there are a few aspects that reveal why the Le3 is priced the way it is — namely, a less powerful motor and very light stall force threshold. If you’re a professional or recreational athlete, these weaknesses may be pretty glaring. Even a CrossFit devotee or amateur powerlifter would probably be happier with one of the Theragun or Hyperice models.
