The 1byone driveway alarm provides a solution to alert you the moment someone enters your property. It’s not only very convenient but also extremely affordable.
Sensor
it is a simple infrared technology with radio transmission in the canonical frequency band of 433 Mhz, said that the sensors behave quite well and are quite precise in finding the approaching heat source (they cover what seems to be an angle of 90 degrees and activate at a distance of a few meters, I would say 4 maximum 5).
Range
The range is nowhere near what is advertised. 328 feet is unrealistic. I had to put my sensor within 100 feet of the house before the receiver would pick it up (and that’s line-of-sight through the window).
Sound
The alarm has a loud tone which is just what I needed and it goes off when it detects movement. This will be good in scaring off anybody trying to break in. This is a useful product and is definitely worth having for your peace of mind and security.
