The pan / tilt control is responsive .comes with a mounting kit and a network cable, which can be installed anywhere you want, 360 ° monitoring, so I can stop the bad behavior of our kittens in time, which is great.

Night vision and motion alerts
I bought the camera to find out what my cat is doing at nights so for me the most important features were night vision and motion detection. Picture quality and night vision are perfect for my needs, motion detection requires some tweeking as right now it records too many empty events on default settings, will need to adjust the sensitivity, BTW it has separate day and night sensitivity levels which is nice. I like the thumbnails view to quickly scroll through the night events. The motion tracking feature is working fine but it’s too noisy so it’s probably useful only for security purposes when you leave on vacation.
HeimVision 2K 3MP Security Camera Setup
The setup was very simple. In essence: took camera out of the box, connected it to a power outlet then connected an Ethernet cable from the camera to my router. About ten seconds after connecting the camera to the power outlet, there is an audible that indicated that the device is ready for operation. After the audible, all I did was scan the QR Bar-code with my phone to download the MIPC App. After installing the App, I went through a very simple and intuitive setup (some of which you can skip) and was done. You are up and running! The whole setup did not take more than 10-15 minutes from un-boxing to full surveillance. THAT SIMPLE!

HeimVision 2K 3MP Security Camera Performance review
This camera offers pretty good picture quality for its price. Unlike some other cameras, this one can be setup easily – even my dad can do it, which is pretty impressive. Being wireless also makes location option way more broad. I have a really good wifi coverage at home, which means I could put it literally anywhere in the house.
As for any flaws with this camera….the only things I’ve experienced so far that have been a little annoying is the following: the camera does make a little popping noise when first turning on the microphone from the phone app. Basically, if you are trying to be inconspicuous and turn on the microphone without the person in the room knowing, that won’t happen. It’s only when you first turn the mic on though and not a consistent popping noise. Also, the app will time out sometimes once I close app and try to re-open it. I just have to restart the program and all is good, it’s not a huge deal. Those 2 nuisances haven’t been so severe that I wished I wouldn’t have picked this camera though.
Overall, I am really pleased with the performance of this camera and have already recommended it to all my neighbor’s. It’s a great price and works excellent!
