Does Revitive Circulation booster really work? The Revitive Medic Circulation Booster uses electrical muscle stimulation to help treat impaired circulation in the legs and feet (EMS). This electrotherapy device stimulates nerve terminals in the foot by using wide-pulse waveforms, which causes the leg muscles to contract and relax. This therapy can lessen discomfort, soothe sore and achy legs, increase circulation, and lessen ankle and foot swelling. Reveal more in Revitive Circulation Booster reviews.

Revitive Circulation Booster reviews

Build & design

It has a circular design, an LCD display, a footplate, and a remote control. While seated, you put your bare feet on the conductive footplate. Through the feet, electrical impulses are transmitted, creating foot and calf contractions that may increase blood flow similarly to modest exercise.

EMS

Revitive claims EMS can lessen pain, improve blood flow, and minimize swelling. Electrical Muscle Stimulation, or EMS, is a procedure that artificially sends electrical impulses across muscles to restore circulation. Your feet immediately convey electrical impulses to the various bodily areas, activating all the pressure points along its path. Additionally, applying pressure to the pressure points on the feet causes the muscles that surround the connecting arteries and veins to contract, enhancing circulation even further.

OxyWave

Your veins are in charge of carrying the blood back to the heart for reoxygenation after your arteries have delivered oxygen-rich blood to your tissues. Veins rely significantly on the muscles in your legs to transport blood because they lack the muscular walls of arteries. An electrical muscle stimulator called Revitive tries to ease discomfort brought on by inadequate circulation. Using OxyWave technology, Revitive asserts that their electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) footplate provides yet another drug-free option for treating pain brought on by inadequate circulation.

WaveForm

The patented series of larger and more powerful muscle contractions is represented by the wide-pulse waveforms. The machine provides 16 distinct waveforms to stimulate the numerous acupoints in your legs and return oxygen-rich blood from your heart to your feet. This variety of waveforms evenly distributes discomfort over the various sides of your legs, calves, and thighs so you may quickly get back to your normal activities.

What is the best circulation booster on the market?

Although Revitive offers a number of variants in the US, the Revitive Medic is their most well-known and well-liked product. It can improve circulation, lessen edema, and provide relief for lower leg pain. They also have a product called Revitive Medic Knee that is specifically designed to treat knee osteoarthritis or arthritis. For those with milder signs of fatigued feet and occasional swelling, Revitive Advanced is a more user-friendly version of Revitive Medic. Here, we focus on Revitive’s US models; however, if you’re curious about the Revitive UK line, check out our Revitive UK stores reviews – where to buy at best price post.

Is Revitive Circulation Booster a clinically proven device ?

We like to highlight below clinical study mentioned by Cosyfeet on Revitive Circulation Booster reviews.

The quadriceps femoris muscles of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee received EMS. The benefits of this intervention on pain reduction during activity, during rest, and at night were compared to those of exercise with biofeedback. In comparison to baseline, the results following therapy revealed a statistically significant improvement in pain levels. According to the authors, EMS offers an alternative intervention for people who have trouble exercising or for whom it is not recommended. Alayl, G., Cantürk, F., and Durmuş, D. (2007). clinical parameters affected by a quadriceps electrical stimulation regimen in knee osteoarthritis patients. 674-678 in Clinical Rheumatology, 26(5).

In this study, individuals with knee osteoarthritis were randomly assigned to one of two groups: those getting only exercise, or those receiving both exercise and electrical stimulation of the quadriceps femoris for six weeks. Comparing pre- and post-measures revealed a statistically significant reduction in pain in both groups. According to statistical analysis, the “exercise plus electrical stimulation” group saw a statistically significantly larger reduction in pain. This finding demonstrates that include EMS in an exercise program helps these patients’ pain levels to improve more quickly.

Study: Elboim-Gabyzon, M., Rozen, N., & Laufer, Y. (2013). Does neuromuscular electrical stimulation enhance the effectiveness of an exercise programme in subjects with knee osteoarthritis? A randomized controlled trial. Clinical rehabilitation, 27(3), 246-257.

Revitive Circulation Booster consumer reviews

I’m glad we purchased this

Context : We bought a Revitiv for my father, a 92 year old type 2 diabetic, still working farmer. He’d seen it advertised on TV. I was very sceptical. I’ve never watched Home and Away in my life and Ray Meagher does nothing for me. I have very little faith in stuff advertised in this way. But Dad was having trouble with lower leg pain and also had mobility issues, and his birthday was coming up, so we (siblings) ordered one, with strict mention that it he needed to let me know if it was no good so we could get our $’s back.

Since it has arrived, he has used it quite a lot, particularly at the outset (great in Summer while the ausopen tennis was on… not so great now (winter) as he has to take his socks off to use it!). We’ve all recognised a big change in him – he is walking a lot better, complains a lot less about aches and pains, and generally is in better spirits than he was prior to this investment. Neighbours have also commented on how well he seems to be going. I was sceptical at the start, but now don’t hesitate recommending the Revitiv to friends.

FAQs – Revitive Circulation Booster reviews

Where is the best place to apply the pads?

Revitive is not intended to help specifically with sciatic pain. It is suggested to help with issues involving the lower legs and feet. Other areas of the body, such the lower back, may get some pain alleviation if your device includes a TENS mode. The location of the body pads when using TENS is indicated in the user handbook.

After surgery when you can resume Revitive medic use?

In the instructions for use, it is advised to use caution when stimulating areas that have recently undergone surgery—within the last six months—as stimulation may impair the healing process. Therefore, even though using Revitive is not contraindicated for your knee, we advise that you speak with your doctor first as they will have a better understanding of how your knee is recovering.

Can you use Revitive medic after a total knee replacement?

The use of metal implants for knee replacements is not prohibited. Rarely, the electrical muscle stimulation may feel a little stronger at the location of a metallic implant; this is less likely when the implant is above the level of the knee. If the operation was recent, we do advise that you speak with your doctor before using.

Additionally, we advise you to use caution for the first six months following surgery. This means that to avoid having therapy interfere with your recovery, you should make sure that the intensity is comfortable (particularly for the side that is affected).

How many times in a day I can use Revitive?

Up to six 30-minute bouts of EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) therapy using Revitive are permitted each day. Excessive exercise could wear out your muscles. Our recommendation is to begin with one 30-minute session per day if you are unfamiliar with EMS. You can use the Body Pads with TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) whenever you need to relieve pain in specific places, such as your shoulders, knees, and lower back.

Revitive Circulation Booster complaints

Does it cause any sensation?

This is typically caused by a minor skin abrasion or crack. The electrical muscle stimulation might feel rather harsh when this happens since the nerve endings are a little more exposed. Applying a bandage or plaster to the injured region and starting use again should usually solve the problem. If the burning feeling continues, we advise moisturizing the bottoms of the feet and waiting a few days for the skin to heal.

Why is it that I feel the stimulation more in my right leg than the left?

The experience may differ slightly from one side to the other rather frequently. This may be due to a number of factors, including dehydration, a past injury, or a medical condition that favors one side over the other. Please discuss the discrepancy with your doctor at your following appointment if it is large and you are worried. Keep the intensity at the proper level for the more sensitive side in the interim; the other side will still gain from it. Another option is to try moisturizing the soles of the feet; perhaps one side needs more moisture?

Why I am feeling discomfort while using Revitive?

It’s critical that utilizing Revitive doesn’t cause you any discomfort. Does the pain or burning only affect one foot or does it affect both feet? The EMS can occasionally feel extremely sharp when there is a cut or abrasion on the foot since the nerve endings are slightly exposed. If the problem is localized, you can try applying a bandage or plaster to the region to see if it helps. Whether this is not the case, it may be prudent to speak with your doctor to determine if there is any possible explanation for the discomfort, especially if it is brand-new and only occurs sometimes (i.e., not after every use).

Does Revitive Circulation Booster cause pain in calf muscle?

After the first few sessions, you can occasionally experience some muscle soreness, comparable to when you start a new exercise regimen. The muscles might have undergone a small overwork. If this seems feasible, we advise taking a few days off to give your muscles a break and starting up slowly.

Reduce the amount of intensity and shorten the sessions. Do this for a few days, then increase very gradually. It can be worth a short conversation with your doctor to make sure there isn’t an underlying explanation if you have been taking Revitive for a while and this muscular soreness is new.

Do Revitive Circulation boosters really work against Post Polio Syndrome?

The Post Polio Syndrome is not a condition that Revitive is intended to treat directly. In Revitive, EMS is used to stimulate the muscles in the legs and feet, which can help improve blood circulation. We advise that you consult your doctor before using this product to ensure that it is appropriate given your pre-existing condition and medical history.

Do Revitive Circulation Boosters work against sciatica and arthritis?

Sciatica and arthritis are not prohibited conditions. Your lower back won’t likely be affected by the footplate’s electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), which is delivered to the feet and lower legs. It might be wise to speak with your doctor before using the body pads near the affected regions. We recommend this to anyone who has a current medical issue.
