Design

The unit is made of white and green plastic. In the middle of the unit is a timer and on the sides of the timer is +/- buttons, which control the intensity of the vibrations.. It has an on/off button, which can be switched using a toe. The intensity can again be controlled by your toes.

The only controls on the unit are the intensity level adjustment and on/off switch both of which are large enough to operate with your feet or by hand. A large LED display confirms the elapsed time and intensity setting selected. The unit is easy to keep clean and I like the fact that on this model there’s a single rubber footpad which I think ensures better foot contact than the 3 individual sculpted footpads used on some models.

This Revitive Circulation Booster is designed to be used for 20-30 minutes each day, the unit has an automatic timer and you can adjust the intensity level. Select the intensity which is most comfortable for you, but the aim is not to get to 50 (the maximum with this model). You can use a moisturiser or foot gel to improve conductivity.

Simply plug it in, put your feet on and hit the power button! It starts slowly and by default runs for 30mins. The booster goes up to a strength of 50.

Jury’s still out!
I was excited to try this as I get swollen ankles and get severe leg cramps. It was very easy to set up our of the box, I put batteries (supplied) into the remote handset, plugged the base unit into the mains and got comfortable in my chair. Stop! Read the instructions, not suitable for anyone with a heart condition, nerve problems or under pain management! The unit should be set to level 30 for 30 minutes of daily use to see any benefit, your feet should be moisturised and time allowed for it to soak in before use to aid conductivity. I started at level 30 and worked my way down. I could only manage level 15 for 5 minutes. If you can tolerate a tens machine I would presume this would be fine for you as this is virtually what it is but for feet only. As I cannot use them it was no good for me, thankfully my husband is highly delighted with it. The unit now resides at the side of his chair for nightly use, as to the long term benefits they are still to be proved. I can only recommend if you are fine using a tens machine on high as the feelings through your feet and legs are very similar. If you’re considering purchasing read the instructions carefully first otherwise it may just become an expensive ornament.
