Build
The laminate wood grain looks quite real, has a wood like texture and man made scrapes and imperfections built into the wood to make it look authentic. The leg are made of steel and will hold up for a lifetime.

Height adjustment
Desk top is split into two parts, so there is a visible seam. They should have included a strip to cover it. Operation is smooth, memory set was easy to do. Lowest point is 27 1/2 inches from the floor, so short people will need a platform under their chair or a foot stool. I’m 5′ 11″ and the perfect ergonomic height was set to 41 1/2 inches for standing, which is where this will normally be.
Assemble
Assembly was a breeze, and I’d say it took me a half hour to put together. I can easily fit my two large monitors, as well as laptop, keyboard, etc on it. The height range is more than ample.
The top comes in two pcs. 1 pc is 55″x 11 1/2″ and the other is 55″ x 15 3/4″ and both are connected and held by 8 small dowels in between both pcs.
