ARTSEA 5G WiFi projector W25 review

Design

The Artsea W25 projector is fairly compact, at 9.5” x 7.5” x 3.5”. It weighs only 3 pounds and 10 ounces (without the cables). The side with the lens has a 2.75” opening, with a snug-fitting lens cap. Immediately behind the lens opening on the top is a focus wheel and a slider for keystone correction.

Ports

It is compatible with Roku Stick, Fire-TV, Chromecast, External Speakers, USB Disk, PS4/PS5/Switch/XBOX, Laptop/PC, DVD Player, Mobile Phone/iPad. It comes with VGA/USB/HDMI/AV/Audio/Wireless Connect.

Display

The 100” screen which came with projector worked perfectly as well; no wrinkles, & easy to hang. We hung it from out volleyball net in our yard.  The wireless screen sharing function offers great convenience to gaming online or watches all your favorite content.

Brightness

It has 8500 lumens brightness and the images are amazingly crisp & clear. We watched a movie outside after dark, & with hardly any adjustments, the entire picture was crystal clear & color was amazing. The Keystone correction works perfectly too.

Resolution

This Projector looks as good as my 4k Projector. It is a 1080p projector with brightness to light up a whole wall. The colors are vivid and has great contrast. The sharpness and detail from any viewing angle in the room looks absolutely fantastic.

Audio

The surround sound from the unit itself is surprisingly decent. Setup is easy and has a good focus range. Connecting external speakers was a bit hit or miss but eventually found a setup that worked well.

ARTSEA 5G WiFi projector W25 Setup

The manual and instructions were easy to read and the instructions worked great. I liked that the instructions show up on the projector screen. It was also very easy to connect the projector to a tripod. I adjusted the legs of our tripod to offer better support, with one leg directly behind the projector so it couldn’t fall backward.

ARTSEA 5G WiFi projector W25 customer review

Good projector but no type-C support. Great price.

I used the projector for a week and found it greatly competitive for the current offer of $160+tax. However, there is no type-C support to it and I did not want to add additional connectors/cables. The fan processor made some noticable noise but it gets overridden when you connect your external speakers. I was also unable to screen mirror with Android. The instruction booklet may need some updates. It has a simple remote control with not many functions. Overall, a descent picture quality, stable focus, doesn’t get overheated after hours of use, a great deal for current offering but not for me. People in other comments also mentioned about an additional gift card that come with it.
