Build

The projector is built well. Some of the plastic parts like the adjustment wheel for focus and keystone adjustments feel cheaply made but function well. 

Design

It’s a small equipment, portable and easy to move from room to room. The projector itself is light with this size, a cover on the lens, remote and all different types cable. Measuring at 11.8 x 11 x 4.4 inches, it weighs 5.7 pounds.

Ports

The unit comes with HDMI, VGA, power, composite, RCA female to 3.5 mm male adapter, and a microfiber cloth for the lens. Connections are wonderful. There are 2 HDMI in slots, 3.5 mm audio out, 3.5 mm audio in, VGA in, composite video in, and 2 USB slots.

Display

The video projector offers the projection size from 50″ to 300″ depending on the distance (5 – 30ft) and 10ft is the recommended viewing distance. I was projecting onto a 120″ screen even though the projector was capable for 150″. If I adjusted the zoom, the center of the screen would become blurry edges clearer.

Brightness

Its 7800L high brightness significantly provides over 50+% brightness than other mini projector. utilizes the bright LED light and lcd display technology. As a result, it can also be used in low light conditions.

Resolution

It is built to be native 1080p which is Full HD. The picture quality is outstanding. Colors are sharp and the picture is very bright. We watched the final game 1 of Raptors vs Warriors and the YABER projector was definitely the best thing that enhance our experience. 

Adjustment – Keystone & Zoom – Yaber Y21 Native 1920 x 1080p projector 7800L

YABER Y21 With ± 50 ° 4D (vertical & horizontal) keystone correction function to ensure the projected image is always a standard rectangle. It’s very convenient to adjust the screen by using the remote control, especially for the projector suspended from ceiling. Reducing projection size by using the X/Y ZOOM function, while others can only do that by changing the projection distance. There are two lens knobs that control the focus of the image and the angle.

Audio

The built in speakers are honestly very impressive, they have good bass and sound quality however most of the time I use an external speaker because I am picky. T

Noise

The fans, however, run at 48-54 dB (which is in the range of a whisper or a quiet house) – so if you’re doing a presentation or such, it’s probably ok for you. If it’s near you in a small home theater though (ours has only two seats and is about 12 feet by 20 feet), it’s very noticeable during quiet parts of movies, and is at just the right frequency range to make quiet dialog difficult to understand.

YABER Projector Setup

Installation is in the manual, easy easy. There are 6 different languages, English is good enough.only takes me about 5 minutes to set everything up . The setup was fast, all you need to do was plugging the power cables and mount it to the ceiling or place it at a level surface. The build-in HIFI speaker is decent. I’ve helped her to project it on a wall and it is able to expand a lot. Supports 2HDMI,2USB, VGA, and AV. 

YABER Projector Connect to iPhone

To connect an iPhone, the Lightning-to-HDMI adapter is required. Also, an adapter for an iPhone is not included in the box. To connect it with a MacBook or MacBook Pro, you have to use an extra USB-C-HDMI cable. And if you want to connect a laptop or PC to the projector,

Yaber Y21 Native 1920 x 1080p projector 7800L customer review

I have tried many projectors trying to get best picture quality. Recently bought one during black Friday sale which was smart and had Roku connected. Even though the picture quality was okay, it had some distortion at the edges and the characters and letters being displayed on the corners were blurry. I was projecting onto a 120″ screen even though the projector was capable for 150″. If I adjusted the zoom, the center of the screen would become blurry bubthr edges clearer. So thought of letting it go and spend few extra bucks at the cost of Roku which I could connect to any projector if bought separately. And ended up buying this on a friend’s recommendation.

1. To my surprise, the projector is bigger in size so got little disappointed but really amazed by the picture quality.

2. My issue with alphabets and and characters which is widely used on gaming platform Xbox which is what I connected to the projector , is gone.

3. The whole screen is evenly zoomed and zoomed out unlike the previous projector which I would be returning soon.

4. As you could see in the pictures, I am able to read clearly on all corners and in the center as well.

5. Sound: For a projector, this has reasonably good sound and doesn’t require any external speakers unless you would like more bass. The speaker on the projector gives clear and crisp flat voice. Happy with it when I compared this to my earlier projector which I retired now.

6. Remote Control is made and finished with high quality material and is very ergonomic to hold.

7. Food number of video input options such as 2 HDMIs, 2 USBs and VGA.

8. Audio in audio out feature is great to setup as home theater. I have connected it to my Yamaha sound bar with 3.5 mm Aux cable but they did provide additional wires I’d we would like to connect using AV cables as well.

9. The images on the screen are very bright and sharp. Almost like watching them on a TV.I would have liked if it had WiFi and Bluetooth as well.

Overall, Very happy with this projector for the picture quality, audio quality, inputs etc..
