GOOVI by Onson robot vacuum 2000pa reviews
Design
It’s slim, super slim in fact. The height of the Goovi Onson 2000PA Slim Robotic Vacuum Cleaner is 2.81 inches. This puts it amongst the front runners of slim robotic vacuum cleaners. There aren’t many around this size.
Suction
The Goovi Onson 2000PA Slim Robotic Vacuum Cleaner is able to climb an approximate degree of 12-15. It’s not going to climb stairs; no robotic vacuum cleaners are smart enough to do that yet. However, it can ride over small bumps – for example, carpets or rugs. This again stops the device from crashing.
Sensor
the sensors allow the robotic vacuum cleaner to move, effortlessly cleaning your floors without causing a crash. It’s important because if your cleaner was to crash, it’ll delay the cleaning process.
Also included is ‘anti-drop’ technology. Basically, what it says on the tin. If the Goovi Onson 2000PA Slim Robotic Vacuum Cleaner comes across a sudden drop, stairs, for example, it will realise this and change course. Therefore, you won’t come home to your robotic vacuum cleaner laying broken and bruised at the bottom of your stairs!
Runtime
Sporting a sizable 2,600-mAh battery, the GOOVI is able to clean nonstop for up to 120 minutes or approximately 2,000 square feet of surface area per charge. By robotic vacuum standards, this is about the average runtime and cleaning capacity which is quite surprising considering that it’s an entry-level robot.
But that’s not even the best part. The GOOVI by ONSON has auto recharge AND resume! As soon as its battery is running low on power, it will make a beeline for its floor charging dock to refuel. After roughly five hours of charging, it will automatically disembark and continue its cleaning cycle.
Navigation & mapping
Notice how we didn’t say that the GOOVI will “pick up where it left off.” This is due to the fact that this robot does not have any advanced navigation or mapping software, so it has no idea where it stopped. Instead, it will begin its cleaning cycle anew, starting from the location of the charging dock.
The GOOVI relies on a number of sensors that identify obstacles, cliffs, and other hazards in its immediate surroundings. It moves in a random pattern across your floors and—if things go right—pick up whatever debris it comes across. Not entirely reliable, for sure, but this isn’t much different from other random-moving robots.
4 Cleaning Modes
The unit offers four standard cleaning modes—auto, spot, edge, and Max. You’ll most likely keep the GOOVI running on auto mode since this will make use of carpet pressurization technology and benefit most from each battery charge.
Edge cleaning is a must-have since its side brushes are quite long and will more than likely toss debris to the sides (edges and corners of room). Switching between the four cleaning modes can be done by toying around with the infrared remote control.
Remote Control
There’s also a helpful Find Me button that will help in locating the robot when it inevitably gets trapped or lost in the wilderness of your home.
You can do a lot more than switch between the different cleaning modes by using the remote control (batteries included). The GOOVI’s RC can be used to command the robot to return to its docking station when you’ve deemed your floors sufficiently clean.
But the most useful feature you can configure with the remote control is auto scheduled cleaning. By setting the scheduler, you won’t need to worry about manually commanding the GOOVI to commence its cleaning cycle.

iRobot Roomba i7+
As if the fact that the iRobot Roomba i7+ was the first robot vacuum with the ability to empty its own bin wasn’t impressive enough, its virtual maps, which it uses to track its cleaning cycles, were enough to really wow us. Further drawing us in was the fact that it’s both Alexa and Google Home-compatible. In fact, our only qualm with this top-notch device after testing was its high price tag of nearly $1,000. Now $799 at Walmart, you can shave $200 off its listing, giving you a 20% savings.
Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 30C.
There’s nothing we love more than a great product at a great value, and that’s exactly what you’ll get with the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 30C. Both robust and simplistic, we gave this robotic vacuum high marks for its stellar dirt pickup capabilities after it proved to suction up roughly 10 grams in our cleaning test. It has an easy-to-use app that allows for scheduled cleanings and battery checks and two magnetic boundary strips that keep it from exploring sensitive areas. While we’ve seen it going for slightly less ($179.56) before, the current $189.99 tag is still a great price for this little vacuum, which regularly goes anywhere from $248 to $291.99.
Roborock E25
The Roborock E25 is one we haven’t yet tested, but it’s garnered solid reviews from more than 2,100 Amazon customers, who gave it a collective 4.5-star rating: One fan even referred to it as “an amazing beast.” Standout features include a built-in mop, an oversized dustbin for less frequent emptying, 13 onboard sensors (which customers say work well to deter collision) and an 1800Pa suction—that’s even greater power than the Eufy we liked so much above. Normally $239.99, you can get this top-rated machine for $199.99 right now, matching the lowest price we’ve ever seen on it.
