Design
It is shaped like a circle, 13.4 inches in diameter, and 3.7 inches tall. Its body has a sleek appearance and is black and silver in color. Compared to the 3.4-inch Shark Ion Robot, it is taller. It doesn’t quite reach the 3.9-inch Neato Botvac D7 Connected’s height. With the exception of one low-clearance couch, the i7+ simply slid underneath our furniture. “Clean” (which initiates or terminates the cleaning procedure), “Home” (which takes the user back to the charging station), and “Spot Clean” are the touchscreen buttons on the upper side.
Additionally, there is a camera at the top for superior navigation. A side brush, two rubber rollers, two main treads, drop sensors, and the dustbin are all located on the robot’s bottom. Unlike other Roombas, this one includes a little door on the dustbin that, when docked, automatically connects with the Clean Base.

Brushes
In order to make sure that the carpet looks brushed and fresh after the vacuuming session, the two rubber brushes revolve in opposite directions. In theory, a robot vacuum has a harder time with carpets, especially those with a high pile. Two rubber wheels and a little roller wheel can be seen front and center.
The i7+ uses rubber-encased foam rollers instead of bristle and rubber ones like the majority of other robot vacuums. Chevron patterns on the two rubber rollers direct dirt into the vacuum chamber. The second roller reverses the chevron design with shallower fins decorated with rubber dashes, whereas the first roller has deep chevron fins.
Dustbin
The bag can contain enough trash to fill 30 full dumpsters before you need to change it. Depending on how much hair the bag needs to collect, this process could take many months or as little as a few weeks. My bag was only around 40% full after a month of testing in a home with one long-haired cat, one long-haired person, and two short-haired people. The bag slips in and out of the top of the Clean Base for simple removal and can store up to 30 dustbins’ worth of dirt (the app will alert you when it’s full).
Water tank
As far as robot vacuum cleaners go, this model has a 0.4-litre bin that can be pulled out from the back of the machine. The Clean Base charging station that comes with this model automatically empties your robot’s bin after cleaning, so you won’t need to do it by hand.

Battery life
With a 3300 mAh lithium-ion battery, it can clean your house for approximately 75 minutes at a time. This equates to up to 1000 square feet of space. And we rigorously tested it. The smart home device cleaned our 900 square foot (84 square meter) flat in about 40 minutes.
Noise
In our sound test, the Roomba i7+ registered 62.6 decibels, somewhat lower than the Botvac D7’s 66.3 decibels. Even so, conversing with the robot that was moving around your feet wasn’t difficult.

Powerful and efficient, love my Roomba
The Roomba is a very powerful and efficient robot. Prior to running it, I pick up all wires, curtains, or anything hanging on the floor to prevent any jams. It cleans my hardwood floors and porcelain tiles perfectly. It picks up all of the dog hair, dust, or small pieces of garbage. I was surprised to see how well it cleans the corners of my floor. If it gets to a spot that it can not reach, it will try several times and then reroute itself. It’s not loud while it’s running. However, I wouldn’t run it at night while I’m sleeping because I could still hear it and it takes about an hour to clean the floors (about 900 square feet). When It’s done cleaning, it goes back to its stations to get emptied and recharged. It’s really loud when it’s being emptied, but it’s quick to empty and it doesn’t bother me. When I’m done using it, I mop the floor and the mop is completely clean with hardly any dog hairs. This is the perfect floor vacuum for pet hair. I’m also glad that my dog is not afraid of it. I love this roomba it’s an amazing tool. I also like that I can control it and program it from the app which is easy to use. Getting the Roomba setup was also easy to do.
