Where to buy Nixplay digital frame?
The Smart Photo Frame costs £269.99/$279.99 for the 9.7in model in black and £319.99/$329.99 in metal, £169.99/$179.99 for the 10.1in variant, £219.99/$229.99 for the 13.3in, and £269.99/$279.99 for the largest 15.6in model. That pricing might sound confusing, but remember that display quality varies between these, so really you’re paying for screen quality, not for screen size.
By contrast the 10in Google Nest Hub Max is £219/$229 and packs in lots of extra smart functionality, but at the price of lower display quality and the risk of confusing controls for those not used to high-tech assistants.
Nixplay 10.1 inch smart digital photo frame with WiFi (W10f) reviews
The frame is black ABS plastic, with a matte finish that won’t collect fingerprints and is easy to keep clean. There’s no border or fake matting around the screen. It runs right up to the edge of the frame, without any extra decorations.
The Nixplay 10.1” Smart Photo Frame has a slick, modern design. From the front, it’s relatively spartan, with a flat, angular frame. the frame measures 10.55 inches tall, 7.36 inches wide, and 1.22 inches thick in portrait orientation. And at only 1.3 pounds, it’s easy to hang without the need for special hardware.
At the bottom edge, there’s a small motion sensor, but it’s not terribly obtrusive. The power is supplied by a simple AC/DC adapter that plugs into your wall outlet. There’s also an internal battery, but it’s primarily designed as a backup in case your power goes out. The AC/DC adapter plugs into the bottom of the kickstand, which has a gooseneck design.
You can mount the Nixplay frame on your wall. There are a total of eight screw slots, which allow you to hang it in any orientation. To access them, simply remove the kickstand, then plug the power adapter in directly.
By default, the built-in motion sensor will turn your frame on or off automatically. When you enter the room, it will turn on, and it will stay on until there’s no motion for 30 minutes. For many people, this is an ideal way to enjoy family photos and save power at the same time.
The Nixplay 10.1” Smart Photo Frame sports an IPS display, which is better than older LCD technology. This type of display allows for a 178-degree viewing angle. In other words, your picture will look right from just about any angle. It’s almost like you’re looking at a physical print instead of a digital display. The resolution is 1,280 x 800 pixels, or between 720p and 1080p. At first glance, this might seem low, but it’s really not. At this size, even if the display was in 4K, you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
The display has a 16:10 aspect ratio, which is sufficient for most modern digital photos. It will automatically adjust to portrait or landscape mode, depending on your frame’s orientation. This will result in some letterboxing.
The smallest is in a relatively boxy 4:3, while the 10.1 uses a 16:10 panel and the 13.3 and 15.6 opt for an even thinner 16:9 ratio. If most of your photos are in one size or the other then this might affect your preferences, but there are various options for how to fit images to the frame in any case.
Storage in Nixplay 10.1 inch smart digital photo frame with WiFi (W10f)
The Nixplay Smart Photo Frame 10.1 inch Touch features built-in storage at 8GB and has two sensors to allow it to adjust to its surroundings.
This optional subscription plan gives you expands the storage capacity from 10GB to 50GB and allows you to play 60-second video uploads instead of 15-seconds. It also lengthens the warranty from 1-year to 5-years and gives you substantially more shared playlists and paired frames.
The next step is to install the Nixplay app on your smartphone. It’s available for free on iOS and Android, and takes only minutes to install. With the app installed, you’ll be able to pair your phone with the frame. Once that’s done, you can start using the app to “text” your photos to the Nixplay frame. Of course, you might want to connect multiple users to the same frame.
Once the app is installed you can connect it to Google Photos, Dropbox, Flickr, Facebook and/or Instagram to to ensure your frame is always up to date with your latest photos and videos. All the photos are stored on the cloud and you control the albums and playlists. Fuji prints is linked in the Nixplay app if you’d like to use that service to print anything out.
How to use Nixplay 10.1 inch smart digital photo frame with WiFi (W10f)?
You also get a nifty remote control. It has a full array of controls, which allow you to turn the frame on or off, skip photos, or choose a playlist. You can also access the frame’s menu to adjust more advanced options. If you don’t want to use the remote on a daily basis, there’s a handy storage option. Part of the frame back is magnetized, as is the remote. Slap it in place, and you’re good to go. It’ll be out of sight, out of mind, and ready for when you need it.
In addition to the remote, there’s one other control option we didn’t mention. You can control your Nixplay Smart Photo Frame with a voice assistant such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. The voice control allows you the same options as the controller. You can even choose a particular playlist just by saying its name. Pretty cool!
Nixplay 10.1 inch smart digital photo frame with WiFi (W10f) customer reviews
It also just happens to be the best selling digital photo frame with over 12,500 user reviews and a 4.8-star our of 5 rating. Nixplay says they have sold over 2 million frames over the past 10 years and are the number one seller in America.
Fantastic! Digital Photo Frame
I have an older digital photo frame that uses SD cards for the pictures. It works well.
I purchased this Nixplay 10.1″ WiFi digital photo frame because I can wirelessly upload pictures from my cell phone to this frame.
This frame easily removes the additional steps of (1) buying an SD card (or two) and (2) downloading pictures to an SD card, then (3) putting the SD card into the frame, and (4) occasionally repeating this process with new photos.
The pictures look great on the frame.
I was a bit hesitant to buy this frame because the screen resolution isn’t as high as the more expensive metal frame, but I have to say the images are crisp.
I will be purchasing another one for a gift to give a relative for the upcoming holidays.
In steading of emailing or texting photos, I will be able to send pictures from my cell phone to their new picture frame. Wonderful.
FYI – the power cable needs to be plugged in all of the time to ensure that the pictures show. There is no battery or rechargeable battery. That would be a nice addition – and I would have bought that version if they had one.By LoveTechToys at Best Buy

Many digital picture frames promise clear and bright images, but there is a profound difference when seeing your photos on the Aura frame, which is 9 inches with a 4:3 aspect ratio. Colors are vivid but realistic, and the 224 ppi resolution screen displays the depth of color as well as exquisite detail.
The Aura relies on its iOS and Android app more than most other digital frames. That’s because the frame accepts only cloud input – no SD cards or thumb drives. The Aura Mason also features a Smart Suggestions feature that helps choose images from your gallery.Advertisement
An ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the display’s brightness and an auto function turns off the frame when it’s dark in the room. There’s no touch screen – and thus no finger smudges to mar the view. Instead, the frame operates via two touch bars: one on top and the other on the side of the unit.
The Aura Mason Frame comes in two colors – Graphite and White Quartz – and it sits on your table in either landscape or portrait orientation. The frame is a work of art from the outside in.
