Brush
Shark incorporated an antibacterial ingredient into the brushroll of the HydroVac to prevent odors from spreading back to your floors and to prolong the life of the brushroll itself.
Filter & tank
This model’s dual-tank construction was thoughtfully created by Shark to guarantee that your dirty pick-ups never come into contact with the clean solution. The dirty water tank’s debris filtering system is built to separate solids from liquids, making it simpler than ever to empty the tank.
It includes a tiny container of fresh-smelling cleaning concentrate. To fill the clean water tank to the next line, you first add cleanser before adding water. You start the vacuum by placing the clean water container inside of it.
Suction
Fir balls, dog hair, pine needles, and sand embedded in the crevices of the wood floor tiles are all picked up by the vacuum cleaner’s suction.
Cleaning & mopping
The clean solution reservoir is big enough to clean my kitchen floor once, and then finish the 2-minute self-cleaning cycle in the stand. It is simple to dilute the supplied solution thanks to the reservoir’s clear indications. The clean and dirty reservoirs can be easily and gently removed and installed again. Just as simple, it only takes pressing one button after initially pushing the head down with your foot. It is highly appreciable how simple it is to remove the brush cover plate. Longer hair is much easier to remove from the brush roll thanks to this.
Assemble
It was simple to assemble and understand how to use. To finish, all you need to do is push the handle into the body. To acquire a full charge, you must charge it on the included charging station for four hours before using it. When you place the vacuum on the base, a battery meter is on the device. When it is finished, the meter turns off. The vacuum is portable and simple to use.
Shark WD201 HydroVac cordless Pro XL 3-in-1 vacuum mop performance reviews
It does a decent job of simultaneously vacuuming and mopping. It does a respectable job of cleaning my floors when mopping. I used my standard mop after using the Hydrovac just to check it out. With the mop, I was still able to gather a small quantity more dirt. To be honest, I also have a Hoover Floormate machine that cleans approximately as much, but it’s far more difficult to use and maintain. With the Hydrovac, all you need to do is charge it up, fill it with water and cleaning solution, and start using it.
Because the Hydrovac has an electric motor, cleaning is made simple by moving the machine ahead. But the machine tends to get a little erratic when you move it backward. The Hydrovac turns effortlessly and is fairly maneuverable.
Battery life
The battery life was excellent overall; I was able to mop my kitchen floor on a single charge with one bar remaining. This works nicely for quick housekeeping tasks. Make sure to pre-treat any spills or nasty dried-on stains with either hot/warm water mopped on or a spray cleaner like power wash, and then wait a little before returning with the Shark.
Shark WD201 HydroVac cordless Pro XL 3-in-1 vacuum mop Consumer reviews
This machine is the best thing next to a vacuu…
I can’t say enough about this vacuum. This is a very versatile machine with many great features. One of the features that I noticed is that is a really lightweight. This vacuum floor cleaner is easy to navigate and lightweight enough to push around without being burdened by a heavy machine. It cleans the floor quite well and the fragrance from the cleaner is very pleasant. I also like the fact that it does not involve a cord. Being able to take this machine up and down stairs and not have to worry about a cord getting tangled up is a plus. This vacuum has a charger that it charges when you are done with it. The battery last a long time and when you put the vacuum on the charger it take very little time to recharge and it is self cleaning which is very convenient. I really like this machine because it is great for spills in the kitchen and everywhere else in the house. Not having to fill up a mop bucket and ring out the mop is great. The self cleaning dock makes it great by keeping the roller heads clean and fresh.

Best Overall
Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam Plus Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vac
The Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam Plus Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vac was the top vacuum and mop combination we evaluated. Its swift and effective cleanup of spills, both wet and dry, on carpets and hard surfaces surprised us.
The appliance was the quickest vacuum and mop combination we tested at cleaning a grouted tile floor that was covered in soggy cereal and raw eggs in under 40 seconds. However, this vacuum really excelled at cleaning carpets; in just 20 seconds, the area rug mode had our carpet clean and dry.
The vacuum also includes LED headlights to illuminate concealed crumbs and hair. Additionally, the handle pivots for effortless maneuvering around corners and edges. But because it’s a corded model, it must be plugged into an outlet to work. However, the cord’s length of 25 feet allows it to reach across several rooms without having to constantly switch to a new outlet.
During testing, the cord did get in the way a few times, but not frequently enough to be a deal-breaker. However, both when it is operating and when it is in the self-cleaning mode, the vacuum is loud. This is a wonderful option if you don’t mind the cord or noise, especially for carpets and area rugs.
