A special double-wall design within this device also ensures that your airflow is never lacking and cleaning power is always up to par. The special Ultra Plush Nozzle is designed for use on upholstery or thick, ultra-plush carpeting. The Stair Grip feature allows the vacuum to sit on stairs for easy cleaning.

It has a low enough brush head to clean under most furniture — you just might need to angle it slightly. It has plenty of reach with its 26-foot cord and more than nine feet of hose.
Head
This vacuum comes with three powered heads. General carpet will require the Crossover head, which is the primary and largest vacuum head included. It also happens to store the other accessory heads inside itself. So when you need to clean bare floors, the bare floor nozzle pops right out by depressing a pedal on the back of the Crossover. For cleaning overhead, there’s a ceiling-fan attachment too. Each head has LED lights to illuminate dirt in your home.
Filter

Although the vacuum struggled more with high-pile carpet, its scores still only fell slightly below average. It picked up around 16% of the dirt we gave it to grapple with, only 2% below the 18% average of all the vacuums we’ve reviewed.
The 21814 earned its highest scores on normal carpet. It picked up 83% of the dirt we laid out for it. The vacuum also got every bit of the large debris. It didn’t matter if it was rice, macaroni, or cat hair—the 21814 had it in the bag, literally.
It’s easy to push and pull the Elite Pet Friendly across most types of floors, and we found it to be very agile and maneuverable, even when cleaning a room cluttered with furniture. The vacuum is greatly aided by its flexible neck, and the canister base usually does a good job of following you.

Just like other cordless upright vacuums in this list, it can double as a handheld cleaner by removing the floor cleaning head and wand, and its powerful suction on carpets, hard floors, and even upholstery ensured we were able to whip away dust and dander with ease.
Beko is another brand that offers a cordless upright vacuum, but this model has a bendable wand that can rotate by up to 90 degrees, making it extremely handy to clean under furniture with low clearance.
However, the dust canister is smaller than many of the models in this list, which means if you have a big home you’ll have to interrupt your floor cleaning session to empty the vacuum. The battery doesn’t last as long as other cordless vacuums (it’s not swappable either) and the vacuum is loud in use, registering 79db on our decibel meter – that’s almost as noisy as a truck traveling down a road at 40mph.
