Design

The device is fairly lightweight compared to larger handheld scanners of similar caliber. It is well built and feels very durable. Measuring at 0.61 x 0.28 x 0.07 inches, it weighs 13.4 ounces.

Screen

It has 5.0 inch IPS 720 * 1280 px with Multi-point touch capacitive screen. Along with Gorilla Glass, the package come with tempered glass film. It also support Stylus pen for smooth operations.

It comes with Cortex-A53 64bit Quad-Core, 2G RAM+16G ROM, can run multiple tasks simultaneously, a smooth operation which compatible with third-party Android apps.

2D scanner

The 2D laser is fantastic that even it can capture the barcode from far distance and it can even read barcode from a display monitor screen too. The grip and the strap is perfectly designed that buttons works so swiftly in your hand. It can scan every type of barcode/qr code I’ve put in front of it so far. It stops being able to read the code at roughly four feet.

How to use MUNBYN Android barcode scanner?

This mobile android based barcode scanner is great. It’s affordable without giving up the all features that the more expensive options offer. It can scan pretty much any barcode, including damaged barcodes… and it’s lightning fast. We’re using this unit as a test to replace our 4x more expensive scanners in our warehouse and production area for inventory management and picking.

The max scanning distance is 0.5 meters. This is the max distance for Honeywell barcode scanner. If you need to scan bar code in 10 meters away, you can use UHF reader. 

We’re using NetSuite and their WMS module which is all web based but this unit does have the option of the Play Store as well as installing other APKs by enabling “Install from Unknown Sources”.
