Price

Price wise, the cost is fair, compared to competing brands with similar suction power. Spending more than $200 on a vacuum cleaner is crazy, at least to me. I bought mine for $150 at my local Target.

It comes with clear plastic dirt compartment. It has a mainly plastic construction, though its wand is made of metal. It’s easy to take apart and reassemble since most of its components clip onto one another.

Design

It has stylish design and blue color are aesthetically presentable. Its dimension is 14.37 x 11.61 x 26.77 inches and weighs only 15.96 pounds. Its power cord is fairly long, allowing you to clean large areas without swapping outlets, but its hose length is quite short, which can be inconvenient when cleaning high-mounted shelves or other hard-to-reach areas.

Brush

The Shark Navigator NV360 comes with a Pet Power brush that is ideal for picking up pet hair and debris. A dusting brush for quick dust pickups on shelves, drapes, window sills, and so on. Also, a crevice tool is available in case there’s any dirt hiding in cracks and crevices. 

Filter

The NV360 is a bagless vacuum with rinsable filters.  This design reduces consumables and helps keep costs down.  The unit has 3 filters – 2 pre-motor and 1 post-motor. 

Post-motor (HEPA) filter: You can access the HEPA filter by removing the front cover on the vacuum. You should clean it once every two years with lukewarm water.

Pre-motor filters: The foam and felt pre-motor filters are found under the dirt compartment. They should be cleaned every three months with lukewarm water.

Dirt compartment

The Navigator has a removable dust cup that disconnects easily from the vacuum by unlocking two latches. My only complaint is the dust cup is a little small and fills up rather fast. It’s made of clear plastic and has a maximum fill line indicator, you can tell how full it is at a glance. The dust canister itself has a capacity of 3 dry quarts but it is only 1.2 dry quarts to the maximum fill line.  

Suction

The Navigator Deluxe has really good suction, removing debris from my carpeting that my previous vacuum left behind. Naturally, you want powerful suction and as little contact with dirt as possible. Shark Navigator vacuum has complete seal anti allergen technology, which traps all the dust.

It has two floor-type adjustment levels: ‘Bare Floor I’, which is for cleaning bare floors like hardwood or tile, and ‘Brushroll ON II’, which is designed to clean carpet. There’s also a suction release control on the handle, which you can slide open if you find the vacuum difficult to push around on carpeted floors and rugs.

While ordinary vacuums are difficult to use in a room with a lot of furniture, the Shark NV360 is not. The vacuum is very easy to maneuver around furniture because of swivel steering technology. This is a huge plus for anyone looking to clean up quickly, efficiently, and with minimal effort.

The Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe has impressive performance on high-pile carpet. It can easily pick up pet hair and a good amount of fine and large debris.

The Shark NV360 delivers great performance on low-pile carpet. It can suck up pet hair without an issue and clears the majority of both fine debris like baking soda and larger material like sand.

The Shark – Navigator Lift-Away Upright Vacuum is a good and powerful relatively lightweight vacuum. The cord is long, the handle is a comfortable height, and the vacuum swivels so it’s easy to push and get around furniture.

It has powerful suction and is height adjustable so it works well on different types and lengths of carpet. The roller can be turned off, which is convenient if you want to use it on bare floors or decorative carpeting with long tassels.

Some things that I would have liked more of is on board tools, this only comes with 1 extender crevice tool and 1 little combo duster piece which I don’t know what it’s really called. The dirt cup is an ok size but of course space is taken up by the filter, and It’s easy to empty.

You can remove the whole center section of the vacuum and use it with the hose and extender crevice tool or other tool if you want to vacuum higher places like vents on a wall or ceiling fans, or go up the steps while vacuuming the baseboards, etc…

Easy to use- makes vacuuming seem like less of a chore! It’s been over a year since we got it Oct 2020, and it’s still working just as well as it did the 1st time we used it, which is saying a lot because it has to keep up with the fur of 2 cats and 1 long hair dog that sheds a lot! We’ve gone through a bunch of vacuums, all brand names, thru the years, and this Shark Navigator Lift-Away Upright Vacuum is definitely the best one so far!

If you’re looking for an upright vacuum to deal with pet hair, the Eureka FloorRover Elite NEU360 is an excellent choice. This vacuum does an outstanding job of dealing with pet hair on bare floors as well as low and high-pile carpet.

Its brushroll is easily removable, meaning you can clear away any tangled pet hair with minimal difficulty. There’s also an onboard HEPA filter to trap allergens as you clean.

Thanks to this vacuum’s bagless design and washable filters, recurring costs shouldn’t be a major issue. While you can’t change this vacuum’s floorhead height, it does have a brushroll on/off switch, which is great if you want to prevent the floorhead from getting caught on rug tassels or scratching bare floors.

There’s also a ‘Suction Control’ setting in its hose, so you can lower its suction power if you’re having trouble pushing it around on carpeted surfaces.

Unfortunately, this vacuum doesn’t feel very sturdy, with a predominantly hard plastic body that creaks and wobbles while in use. It can be a bit of a hassle to maneuver in tight areas since its bulky dustbin gets in the way when vacuuming under tables and chairs. Many parts need regular cleaning, though thankfully, they’re easy to access. Overall, it’s a great option for pet owners
