Design

The wood frame is very elegant, and light turns off at night. The 8-inch frame measures 14.86 x 10.6 x 2.16 inches. It weighs only 3.1 pounds. The frame includes  a metal stand in the box that works like an easel.

Sizes

It comes in variable sizes – 8″, 10″ & 14*. This frame was perfect for my desk at work! I took the outer frame off for space/size issues but with the frame on it would make a beautiful piece sitting in your house somewhere!

You can easily change the look to match your home décor with white matte and black matte. Even you can make it frameless by removing wooden border.

Display

The picture quality is quite nice. Fast and easy to use. It comes with It has a touch screen and produces 1080p resolution. The photos look crisp and clear.

How many pictures can you put in a PhotoShare Frame?

It features both SD and USB slots for fast and easy import of digital photos, music and video. It has an internal storage of 8 GB. The internal memory of the photo frame will hold approximately 5,000 images (depending on image quality, photos are automatically resized down to the resolution of the frame and then compressed. This dramatically lowers the file size of each photo without losing quality).

Setup

In order to share photos, you need to download the PhotoShare app, create an account and register. It also appears you can do this from the website, https://www.photoshareframe.com/#/register, though the instruction manual says to use the app so that’s what we did. You will need to enter your Frame ID, shown when you power on the frame. Only then, after you register, will it generate your unique email address to share photos.

  • Simple, 1-Minute Setup
  • Plug in your frame
  • Connect to WiFi
  • Create your free PhotoShare account

You also need to go to the touchscreen on your frame, go to settings, and click on your wifi and enter the password. Obviously, it needs to be connected to the internet to receive photos, though it does have a spot to manually upload photos from an SD or USB device.

App

This frame includes a very user friendly app that we have used with Apple and android devices. After apps download and creating account, you can start using.

You can select how fast you want your slideshow to run through photos, which photos you do or don’t want in your slideshow, and if you want certain types of transitions or just random transitions between photos. From the app you can add captions, which is a fun way to communicate through the miles.

The slideshow can be set to different settings such as the border, the time between the photos, etc. It also dims at night displaying just the time (low light, not bright at all). You can have music playing while displaying your photos.

Great way to share pictures

This was a gift for my parents who have everything. They love it! Extremely easy to set up and they love that they can see what the grandkids are doing. My kids like to share pictures too as well which makes them feel closer. Takes all of 5 minutes to set up and get things going. The APP is ok but I found emailing pictures to be a lot better and easier incase they happen to unplug the unit. The frame is nice but you can also mount it on a wall if you’d like for a smaller footprint.

The Mason frames are perfect for giving as a gift as you can add pictures to it without having to open the packaging – an especially handy feature if you are giving it to someone slightly less tech-savvy.

Aura makes some of the most stylish digital photo frames around. The Mason Luxe comes in two colors ways, pebble and sandstone, both of which have a speckled effect.

All you need to do is scan a QR code on the box and use an app on your phone to choose which pictures you want it to display which adds an extra element of surprise.

This is a great frame if you can’t decide whether you want it for portrait or landscapes pictures because you can do both! It’s not the cheapest digital photo frame but we certainly think it’s one of the best looking and includes a feature so that you can also email photos to it.

The new and improved Mason Luxe is also able to play videos with sound thanks to its built-in speaker. Its 2K resolution means that both photos and video will be displayed in high quality and the screen is slightly larger than the standard Mason frame.

You can adjust the slideshow speed so that images change as fast or slow as you want or alternatively, you can manually flick through images using the interactive touch bar.
