Design

Measuring at 13 x 14 x 44.5 inches, it weighs around 12.27 pounds. The heavy-duty suction power paired with the triple-action brush and multi-cyclonic filtration system makes this one of the best vacuum cleaners we’ve used in a long time, especially for picking up after balding pets.

Power Cord

To add to the already-convenient 2252, this handy-dandy vacuum cleaner uses a super-long 27-foot power cord to draw power from the nearest wall outlet, giving you roughly 2,300 square feet of movement before needing to switch to another outlet.

Swivel Neck

Though a handy feature, we find that the bulky design of the 2252 makes it quite cumbersome to navigate in tight spaces, so we rely heavily on the suction hose and vacuum attachments to clean hard-to-reach areas (more on this later on).

Like most uprights, the Bissell 2252 uses a swivel neck that lets you roll the vacuum cleaner in between and below furniture, so no part of your floors are left un-vacuumed.

Great vacuum contender, performed better than Shark!

The suction of Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet is comparable to the Shark Duo Clean Liftaway. I have both vacuums and I prefer the Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet over my shark. The CleanView’s rotator brush does not clog or get stuck with pet hair like the shark. The canister has a comparable size to the shark and the CleanView Swivel Pet is much easier to unload. It is a bit heavy, and not very easy to carry up and down stairs compared to a shark, but about as heavy as the Dyson Animal. The Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet has incredible suction power, it picks up as much dirt, dust and debris as my Shark and seems to do an even better job. It does not lose suction, I think that is the best part. I was really surprised with how powerful and effective this vacuum is. I’m curious how long this vacuum will last in compairason to my Shark and Dyson. I have a golden retriever and two cats, so pet hair is everywhere and we aren’t easy on vacuums. For now, this one does the job. The pet attachment is perfect for cleaning my couch and the other attachment works for hard to reach places. There is an extender attachment to reach higher places, I used it to vacuum my drapes and it worked nicely. I love how large the vacuum head is. It covers more ground than my Shark. It really is a high quality vacuum. The plastic parts don’t feel as sturdy as with other vacuums I’ve owned, but it is also a much more affordable product. I’ve used it 21 times since I’ve had it and it has done a perfect job each time. I even went over it with my Shark to test the performance and my Shark was empty. That was the proof I needed. I would for sure buy the Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet. It is a phenomal vacuum at a reasonable price point. I had heard of the Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet before, but never before thought it would compare to vacuum three – five times the price. I’ve recommended it to a friend who has a dog and a very tight budget, I also recommend it to my mom with a large space to vacuum.
