Is BLUEAIR a good air purifier?

Dust, mold, pollen, pet dander, and other airborne particles as small as 0.1 microns can all be eliminated by the system with a 99.97% success rate. Clean air is drawn in from all directions via the 360-degree air intake, and it exits the purifier from the top. But take note that for the device to work properly, it needs to be 4 inches / 10 cm apart from another object.

Its lower electricity usage and noise output can be attributed to a re-engineered motor (compared to its predecessor, the 311 Auto), a larger and less dense filter, and a more open outlet grille. With the Blueair app, you can remotely change the machine’s settings and keep an eye on the quality of your air.

With its HEPASilentTM technology, the Blue Pure 211i Max can clean up to 1,524 square feet in 30 minutes or 635 feet in 12.5 minutes. Additionally, it has sensors and a light to show the air quality in your area right now. Additionally, you may change the settings to suit your needs thanks to the three speeds and auto mode.

How good is Blueair air purifier control system?

There is only one round button on top of the Blueair 411i Max that serves as its control. After pressing it once to enter auto mode, you can cycle through the other modes, Night, Everyday, and Boost, before turning it off with each press. Depending on the mode selected, three lights surround the button and light up. A little air quality light on the front is the sole additional light. Red denotes contaminated air, orange denotes moderate air quality, and blue denotes excellent air quality. Sensors that measure the amount of particulate matter in the air determine this.

The controls have a kid lock. The particle pollution levels in your room are measured by its air-quality sensor at 1, 2.5, and 10 microns (also known as PM1, PM2.5, and PM10; these are roughly equal to smoke, dust, and pollen).

With a sound meter reading of only 35dB, the Blue Pure 411 Auto is extremely quiet when used on the regular Everyday setting. Its soft hum, which registers at 29 dB in night mode, is hardly audible; chances are, your own breathing will sound louder.

The device is 55dB louder in Boost mode, as expected, but not any louder than the majority of fans I’ve come across. The Blue Pure 311i Max never gets louder over 50dB³ when it is operating at low volume, 23dB. Certified by QuietMarkTM.

How good is BLUEAIR air purifier to clean pet hair and odor?

After being largely ignored for a week, the Blue Pure Max’s washable cotton cover—which gathers pet hair—needed a quick cleaning. It is simple to get rid of pet hair with a moist cloth, lint roller, or hand washing.

While I was sautéing some onions and Italian sausage, the device picked up particles and instantly switched to high mode, staying that way for about five minutes until the odor was completely gone before returning to silent mode. Depending on the air quality, the front LED bar changes from blue to green, orange, and red. The fan speed is also adjusted to match the specified degree of air quality.

When smoking some meat on the patio in the back, the same thing occurred. When I opened the door to bring in the meal, the appliance sensed smoke and turned on the red front LED. Once the door was shut, the fan was turned off on high speed and the LED indicators turned back to blue, indicating that the smoke had completely left the room.

An air purifier needs to run continuously to ensure clean air in the home. Our air purifiers are made with the least amount of energy consumption and environmental impact in mind. How effective is Blueair app?

Installing the Blueair app is simple, at least for Android users. My phone quickly established a connection.

Compared to the control panel, the app offers more finer modification capabilities. Within the range of speeds that are accessible, you can set the fan to any level. There are two brightness settings for the LED indicator: zero and maximum.

You may also activate a Welcome Home function, which uses geofencing to determine when you leave or return home, depending on how comfortable you are with widening the app’s permission limits.

BLUEAIR air purifier consumer reviews

Amazing Air Purifier

I have two air purifiers in my home but was needing one for my large living room. The Blue Pure 211i Max cleans 635sqft so it was more than capable of cleaning our air. My family of 3 kids, husband and myself all suffer from seasonal allergies and live in the south west Texas panhandle where there is nothing but dirt so having an air purifier gives me peace of mind that we are breathing clean air. This certain air purifier is amazing! It has 5 fan speeds and it practically silent when on. The added touch screen is quite nice. I like that you have an app that is alexa voice controlled since we have several in our house. Its overall the best air purifier we have in our house and one I highly recommend over any other brand on the market.

The best BLUEAIR air purifier

Blueair Blue Pure 311i Max

The Blueair Blue Pure 311i Max delivers remarkably silent performance, outstanding energy economy, and a display shutdown. It performs comparably well in terms of purification to our other standard-space options.

It’s also a very pretty machine, with a machine-washable cover that looks like tweed and comes in a variety of subdued hues.

One little criticism: The firm advises changing the filters every six to nine months, which raises the annual replacement prices over those of several purifiers that are comparable.

Blueair Blue Pure 211i Max

With its high and high-medium settings, the Blueair Blue Pure 211i Max—designed for rooms up to 500 square feet—reduces smoke levels in our test room by more than 99.9%. It is an outstanding performer.

Despite the power, it’s surprisingly quiet and incredibly energy-efficient. If you have light sensitivity and are having trouble falling asleep, you can turn off the display while it’s operating.

The controls have a kid lock. The particle pollution levels in your room are measured by its air-quality sensor at 1, 2.5, and 10 microns (also known as PM1, PM2.5, and PM10; these are roughly equal to smoke, dust, and pollen).

An app has the ability to remotely modify its settings and monitor its readings. It is priced appropriately, but if you’re thinking about getting this for a small to medium-sized room, our other recommendations will provide you with more than enough purifying power for at least $100 less.
